Message from the District Governor

TERRY WHITE
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Indiana District of Kiwanis website.

We are very excited about our new “look” and structure of the website.  The Indiana District of Kiwanis encompasses the entire geographic area of the state of Indiana and includes over 7800 Kiwanis members.  The district currently has over 210 clubs Kiwanis clubs, and many Service Leadership Clubs.  Service Leaders Clubs are comprised of young people throughout our district.  We have Kiwanis Kids for elementary aged children, Builders Clubs for intermediate and junior high, Key Clubs in high schools, Circle K on college campuses and Aktion clubs for our mentally and physically challenged adults.  As you can see, we truly are a Kiwanis Family.   We exist to be a part of a global organization of volunteers that are dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.

Our clubs focus on the needs of their individual communities and provide service that will make the biggest impact on their own areas.  We have one project that unites the entire Indiana District and that is an annual fundraising project for Riley Hospital for children.  We are committed to support Riley hospital and each year the members of this district join together to raise over $250,000 for the children at Riley.
If you are a member of the Indiana District of Kiwanis Family then thank you for all that you do to help make a difference in your club and in your community.  If you are just visiting and would like to find a Kiwanis club to join, so that you too can make a difference, then follow this link - JOIN US!

I am always available for questions or to help your club in any way, please feel free to contact me at taw@thelawteam.net.  Terry White, 2008-09 Governor
